The Model is wearing a rounded collar blouse from Giordano, an essential black Minky dress and flats from Target. The inspiration for the collar may come from the victorian style doll, where dolls wear cute dresses with a school girl collar. Lolita fashion may also influence the 'innocent'-looking collar. The collar has been paraded in many of the latest highend fashion shows and has even been spotted in the 2011 hollywood film'True Grit', starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon. The A/W Louis Vuitton describes this trend as, "butter-wouldnt-melt-buttoned-up-dresses teamed with the sunday best white collars". Although the collar is seen universally, through research, I found Louis Vuitton had the most consistent use of collars in the latest collection. The model's sunday best collar is a dipiction of a current runway trend.
